How it works

  1. Select supported local image files in File Explorer. Available formats depend on the installed image engine.
  2. Press Alt + Space and type “Optimize PNG (Smaller Colors)”.
  3. Select PNG files, choose 16–256 colors and whether to use dithering to soften color transitions.
  4. Start the action and check the result.
